The Vendors That Made This Day Happen

Caterer: Lavera

They were AMAZING. The food was delicious, guests raved about the food for months after the wedding. They were very easy to work with and things went very smoothly with them. They Also offered to throw in bartenders and bar wash package for a very reasonable price since they were already doing our catering. Bartenders were awesome.

Cake: Corbo's Italian Bakery

Bride & Bridal Party Dresses: TLC Bridal and Formal in Boardman, OH

Owner Trudy is great to work with, they carry all sizes of dresses and I felt they were reasonably priced. The bridesmaid dresses had some ordering issues/tariff delays but ultimately everything worked out and TLC made things right.

DJ: Ohio DJ Pros

We splurged on DJ and it was well worth it. They surprised us by having video from our videographers from the ceremony playing on the DJ booth during the reception. Kept the party going and did an awesome job. Very good to work with during the planning process, they have a very thorough portal and song selection process they work with you on.

Florist: Lauren & Co

AMAZING. We loved our florals so much and had a lot of guests comment on how beautiful they were!

Hair & Makeup: Roots Salon and Wellness in Boardman, OH.

LOVED them. Super easy to work with, did trials with them and they helped us navigate some annoying venue rules about starting time. They added a third artist at no charge to ensure we could start when we wanted to and would be done on time. I loved my bridal hair and makeup and I think all of my bridesmaids/flower girls/MOG/MOG were very happy with their work

Loved working with Lindsay, she did our engagement shoot too. Very quick, which was good since Zack is not a fan of photos. Captured our day wonderfully and was very reasonable

Tuxedos: Men’s Warehouse

Zack and his groomsman all bought suits since they did not have anything Zack liked in the rental section. Ordered the ties online from Tie Mart (like $15 per tie which was sweet)

Videographer: Mac Creative

We did not have a videographer in the budget initially, but I realized it was something I really wanted and was afraid I would regret not having. Found them on NE Ohio Bridal facebook group, they typically do more sports videography but do weddings occasionally so they were affordable. They gave us raw footage of the parts of the ceremony we wanted, and then made us a short teaser video and a longer wedding video and I am so glad we got them!

For this weeks real wedding, we are jumping back to April of 2025 for Kenley & Zacks beautiful wedding at Standing Rock Farms.

How they met: Match.com

Their wedding day Vision: We wanted it to feel warm and welcoming, rustic but modern vibes, classy and timeless. Soft pastels since it was a spring wedding. Colors were dusty blue, blush/pinks, and white/greens. Accent metal color was gold. We just wanted it to really feel like a reflection of us as a couple and it was perfect!

Favorite Memory of their Day: My favorite moment was saying "I do" and getting to marry my best friend. And then, getting to let loose and celebrate with Zack and all of our friends and family. Seeing everybody having so much fun with us made everything SO worth it.

Why they choose Lauren & Co: We chose Lauren & Co Events because I felt a sense of calm talking with Lauren, and I really felt like she understood our vision for the day. I wanted somebody that I could trust to hand over everything to on wedding day because I wanted to be able to enjoy the day and not have to worry about anything. It was also very appealing that Lauren also did florals and rentals, so the fact that she could offer so many things to us made that part of the planning process very simple. She helped us come up with ideas and most importantly, executed everything perfectly once wedding day came.

“Let me just start by saying, if you are planning a wedding, you need to hire Lauren and her team. When my now husband and I were building our wedding budget, we did not have a day-of-coordinator in the budget. However, as we got further into the planning process, we kept running into little things and logistics where we wondered who would set something up on the wedding day, who would help coordinate with all the vendors, who would handle any issues that arose. We started looking into day-of-coordinators/wedding managers, and came across Lauren as a recommendation from our venue. We met with Lauren and immediately realized we needed her help. We hired her for her Wedding Management package, which is more than just a day-of coordinator. I could email her anytime with any questions I had and she was so helpful. We ended up doing our florals and a few decor rental items through Lauren as well. She really took our vision and helped us bring it to life on the wedding day. She helped us with our timelines, logistical questions, reached out to all of the vendors to let them know when to show up and details for wedding day, and was so incredible on the wedding day. Lauren came Thursday night and ran our rehearsal walkthrough, and then was there on wedding day early to set everything up. We brought her boxes of the decor we had, and let her do everything else. She set up all the decor, table runners, numbers, floral centerpieces, arch florals, guest book, signage, candles, seating chart, everything. She came and checked on both the bridal suite and grooms suite to make sure everybody was on time and to see if we needed anything. She helped make sure the day ran smoothly and if anything went wrong, my husband and I never knew about it! She cleaned everything up and packed up everything of ours at the end of the night and loaded it in our truck to take with us to our cabin for the night. Lauren is quite literally a lifesaver and we could not have pictured our wedding day without her. If you are planning a wedding and thinking you are just going to do it all yourself the morning of the wedding, I encourage you to think again. Lauren took so much stress off of my plate and I could enjoy the morning of the wedding getting ready with my girls, and then have the most incredible wedding day without having to worry about anything! Lauren's florals were STUNNING. I loved my bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets, corsages, bouts, centerpieces, arch piece, etc. were all gorgeous. Words cannot describe how incredible Lauren and her team is, I absolutely recommend hiring her to do both wedding management and florals.” -Kenley
